Battle Quiz 2011 - Perth’s Smartest Social Challenge
On behalf on SmartClub, The Love Angel Foundation and the Forrest Centre Reception Centre we would like to invite you to this year’s Battle Quiz!
The event takes place on Saturday August 20th and fundraises for the Love Angel Foundation founded by Ros Worthington. Due to the fantastic success of last year’s event we have again secured Lachy Reid (The Western Front) and Chris Murphy (Australian Idol) as our fantastic hosts for the evening, they also coordinate mid-quiz laughs (to give the brains a rest) such as paper plane throwing competitions and karaoke! We already have an abundance of prizes to give away from Gold Class tickets to overnight stays in luxury hotels, no one will leave empty handed!
We trust you realise without the support of individuals, businesses, social clubs and sporting associations the event would not take place and we ask that you consider booking a table for a fun filled night in support of a very worthy cause!

Chocolate Appreciation Night!
On Wednesday 8th December, many mouths were watering when SmartClub teamed up with Chocolateria San Churro Leederville to host our first Chocolate Appreciation night! After an overwhelming response, the twenty lucky candidates commenced the evening with a yummy tasting plate including chocolate brownies and chocolate coated pretsels. Once everyone was happily munching away, Ramon Casas (San Churro Leederville owner) gave the happy campers a rundown of the store with flamboyant Spanish passion. Of course the tasting plates were devoured in record time. So what better option than to bring on the drinks. The ecstasy began with Spanish Hot Chocolate, followed by mix it yourself chocolate drinks, (your choice of milk, dark or white in warm milk) and last but not least chocolate tea! It was a successful and fun filled event. Everyone left on a massive high from devouring and learning something new about chocolate indulgence....a few even made a few sneaky purchases just to extend the buzz a little longer! FYI - for those of you who have never heard of San Churro it is nothing short of chocolate heaven and churro. Thanks to Ramon, all SmartClub members get a massive 25% off discount at San Churro - Leederville only!
