  • Do I need to be a member to buy tickets?

    Yes, commencing from the 2010 website launch, to be eligible to purchase tickets you will need to hold a SmartClub membership.

  • How do I pay for SmartClub tickets?

    The best way to buy your discount tickets is to purchase and order them from tickets page on the website, following all the prompts as you go. If you're not comfortable paying over the internet, you can order, pay and pick up the tickets over the phone with us over the phone. Office hours 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

  • How long are the movie tickets valid?

    To know the specific expiry date for any of our tickets please check the box office page when ordering or send us an email and you will receive a prompt reply. While most tickets have at least a 4 month expiry date please check online or with us first to avoid disappointment.

  • What is the difference between registered post and normal post?

    Both postage methods are through Australia Post - Registered post is focused on tracking your tickets from postage time to the delivery address for security and piece of mind.   Normal post is unsecured postage, if you elect to post via normal post please note that SmartClub is not responsible for lost tickets, no refund or exchange will be given should a problem occur during postage.

  • Do I need to specify the session time or movie?

    No you don't, our tickets are cinema vouchers valid for all standard movies showing. For example, if you want to go to Hoyts, simply order the Hoyts cinema adult or child vouchers from us and use them at any Hoyts Cinema on any movie and time you choose.

  • Do I need to specify the date and time for Rottnest tickets?

    No but it is paramount that you book the tickets with your chosen carrier once you receive the tickets from SmartClub. To avoid disappointment SmartClub advises that you call the ferry company to check that your departure time is not booked out a few days before. If you wish to upgrade your ticket to an extended return ticket a small fee can be paid to the ferry company on the date of depature, just advise the ferry company of this when you book.

  • Is there a minimum or maximum order?

    There is no minimum or maximum order. If you go to the movies frequently it's advisable to purchase extra tickets with your order, as tickets usually have at least a four month expiry.

  • Can I see 3D or IMAX movies?

    Hoyts and Greater Union charge a small fee over the counter when redeeming your tickets to 3D and IMAX movies. This is usually a few dollars but it's best to contact the cinema if you would like to know the exact amount.

  • How long will postage take?

    Although most tickets are normally posted and received within 1 -2 business working days SmartClub cannot guarantee a time frame for normal postage (through Australia Post). We recommend placing your order at least 3 days before you wish to use your tickets to avoid disappointment.
